Ну, досадным образом (на момент написания) Microsoft добавил функцию 'Load ActiveSync at Startup' (have yet to include a facility to 'Load ActiveSync at Startup' or even an 'Exit' option from the System Tray Icon -поможите с переводом - не понимаю фразы). Если, как мы, вы не синхронизируетесь с ПК каждую минуту, то это означает, что ActiveSync сидит в памяти и использует её достаточно заметные ресурсы.
Еще более досадным является то, что если вы попробуете покопаться и убрать в реестре ключи отвечающие за автоматическую загрузку ActiveSync, он сам очень тихо добавит их обратно, что означает что он постоянно остается открытым.
ActiveSync Toggle позволяет вам загружать и выгружать ActiveSync из памяти убирая ключ реестра который автоматически загружает AS при запуске Windows.
Не выключаем AS пока КПК подключен к ПК!!!!

Delete the ActiveSyncToggle.exe file. Delete the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Micrologics\ActiveSync Toggle" registry key.
