SpellForce — игра, в которой присутствует RPG и стратегия в реальном времени. SpellForce появилась в 2000-х годах, а потом впала в спячку на несколько лет. На данный момент издательство THQ Nordic возвратило франшизу к жизни и даже довело её до ответвления на мобильных телефонах!
Портативную версию окрестили SpellForce — Heroes & Magic. Как говорит официальное описание, это пошаговая стратегия с глубокими ролевыми механиками. Геймер будет править одной из 3-х рас: людьми, орками либо тёмными эльфами.
Стратегический слой игрового процесса предлагает строить империю, прогуливаться по карте, собирать ресурсы и завоёвывать шахты, фермы или целые города. Когда две армии вступают в бой, игра переключается в распорядок пошаговой стратегии на шестиугольном поле.
SpellForce — Heroes & Magic уже доступна на iOS (529 рублей) и Android (590 рублей). В игре нет ни микротранзакций, ни рекламы, ни лутбоксов, ни других частей «фритуплеек».
Создатель — компания HandyGames, которая практикуется на мобильных играх и принадлежит THQ Nordic. Издательство гласит, что Heroes & Magic очень поможет фанатам скоротать время до релиза расширения Soul Harvest для SpellForce 3. Оно должно выйти в течение 2019 года.
