Для уничтожения шаров необходимо выстроить цепочки шариков одного цвета длиной более трёх. В процессе игры при уничтожении трёх цепочек подряд игрок получает разнообразные бонусы: замедление движения шаров, движение в обратном направлении, уничтожение случайных 10 шариков и т. д.
Необходимо так же собирать драгоценные камни и монеты. За 30 монет игрок получает дополнительную жизнь. Также в 3 и 4 частях появилась возможность улучшать получаемые бонусы. В случае если игроком уничтожены более 5 шаров одного цвета или сбит специальный кувшин из него выпадают монеты (оригинальное название в игре — Ankh), на которые возможно купить в магазине улучшение параметров получаемого бонуса.
