Корпорация Microsoft на выставке в Лос-Анджелесе показала всему миру сервис Xbox SmartGlass. Представленная новинка может синхронизировать планшеты, смартфоны и другие мобильные устройства с Xbox 360. Ведь когда только Xboxпоступил на рынок, а это было в 2005 году, разработчики наверняка не думали, что зайдут так далеко. На сегодняшний день Xbox 360 стала самой продаваемой игровой приставкой в мире.
У Xbox SmartGlass будет несколько предназначений.
Так, например смартфон или планшет может быть использован как “Второй экран”, на котором будет отображаться дополнительная информации по игре. Например, можно будет смотреть доступный в игре инвентарь и другие опции.
Так же Xbox SmartGlass будет являться аналогом уже существующего сервиса AirPlay от компании Apple. Например, если пользователь стал смотреть фильм на компьютере, то он может продолжить просмотр любимого фильма на телевизоре.
Ну и, в-третьих, с помощью данной новинки пользователи смогут пользоваться InternetExplorer на игровой консоли Xbox. Будет он таким же, как и на стационарных компьютерах или быстрым пока никто не знает.
Разработчики поделились, что представленная ими новинка будет поддерживаться на андроидах, коммуникаторах WindowsPhone, а так же на семействе iOS– ipodtouch, ipad, iphone. Но Microsoft не забыла и про персональные компьютеры, правда доступен сервис Xbox SmartGlass будет только пользователям Windows 8.
Первую версию Xbox SmartGlass обещают представить до конца 2012 года.
