Не смотря на совсем недавний дебют нового iPad mini и поступление в продажу планшета, в Apple уже на полных порах идёт разработка модного гаджета iPad mini следующего второго поколения.
По словам самих представителей Apple они всерьёз считают что у нового планшета iPad mini существует недостаток в виде невысокого разрешения дисплея в новом планшете. Именно на устранение данной проблемы возможно будут брошены основные силы в компании из Купертино. И учитывая то, какими качественными и продвинутыми выходят все новые гаджеты Apple сомневаться в том что iPad mini 2 станет ещё более совершенным не приходится.
Вообще тот показатель качества дисплея в новом iPad mini считается весьма хорошим для небольшого планшета, но если сравнить его со старшим собратом по бренду iPad 3 и новейшим iPad четвертого поколения то конечно дисплей iPad mini уже никак не может сравниться с новейшим дисплеем Retina, которым оснащены «большие» iPad.
Именно поэтому в Apple хотят оснастить будущий iPad mini 2 таким же сверхчетким дисплеем с технологией Retina, который во всю используется на больших планшетах компании, а также внедрен в линейку iPhone. Применение такого дисплея в небольшом планшете потребует серьёзной модернизации устройства iPad mini, а особенно его батареи для того чтобы оптимизировать использование энергии новым дисплеем.
