В Google Play есть больше чем 700 000 приложений, это много, но это далеко не все приложение разработанные для системы Android. Если какое-то приложение не соблюдает правила, установленные Google, оно просто удаляется из магазина. Примером могут быть программы, которые блокируют рекламу или служат для скачивания видео с YouTube. Это всего лишь два примера приложений, которые запрещены в Google Play.
Это констатация факта, никак не обсуждение того правильная ли это политика или нет. Несмотря на то, что Android OS достаточно открытая система, все же в Google Play имеются свои ограничения, например, как недоступность для вашего региона. Ничего в этом плохого нет, ведь в противном случае пользователям были бы доступны многие вредоносные программы. Хотя иногда эти ограничения затрагивают не только такие приложения, а и достаточно безобидные.
Можно ли назвать это весомым недостатком? Не стоит так думать. Ведь благодаря тому, что система свободна и открытая, Google Play не единственное место для загрузки приложений. Вместо стандартного магазина приложений можете воспользоваться Slide Me, GetJar и это только капля в море. Однако такими сервисами как эти, то есть сторонними, нужно пользоваться с максимальной осторожностью. Вы должны быть уверенны в приложении, которое ищите и устанавливаете. Стоит назвать несколько приложений, не содержащихся в Google Play.
TubeMate, ранее также доступно и в маркете, но было удалено за его способность загружать видео прямиком с YouTube. Но это не помешало дальше существовать этому приложению. Его можно получить благодаря названным выше сервисам и не только там.
Для тех, кого в край достала реклама уже не сможет скачать из маркета AdAway, ведь оно было удаленно из-за того, что обрезало основной поток прибыли компании Google, то есть блокировало рекламы в приложениях. Но, как уже говорилось, Google Play не единственный источник.
Еще одно приложение, которые по каким-то причинам было удаленно из Google Play это Snes9x, неверное лучший эмулятор игровых приставок. Несмотря на это, он еще живет и развивается за пределами маркета.
Основным конкурентом Google Play является Amazon Appstore. Компания очень сильно следит за своим сервисом, настолько, что в Китае, стране – с крупнейшем в мире рынком смартфонов он был запущен раньше Google Play. Кроме разных, интересных и бесплатных предложений пользователь найдет много того, что обязательно понравиться и пригодиться.
