Samsung отложила на неопределенные период времени запуск складного смартфона Galaxy Fold в Китае. Стоит ли говорить, какое значение для южнокорейского гиганта имеет китайский рынок смартфонов, являющийся крупнейшим в мире.
Как сообщается, на 23 и 24 апреля Samsung планировала специальные мероприятия в Гонконге и Шанхае по случаю начала продаж Galaxy Fold в Китае. Но оба эти мероприятия были отменены и пока что новые даты не называются. Никаких дополнительных разъяснений и комментариев от пресс-службы Samsung пока не поступало.
Что касается причин задержки, недавний инцидент явно имеет к этому самое прямое отношение. На прошлой неделе несколько журналистов и блогеров рассказали о поломке экранов их экземпляров складных смартфонов Samsung Galaxy Fold после двух дней тестирования. Спустя несколько часов после появления этих сообщений Samsung сделала официальное заявление, в котором пообещала тщательно изучить сломавшиеся смартфоны и донести до покупателей информацию о том, что нельзя ни в коем случае снимать защитный слой, являющийся структурной частью дисплея. Напомним, на рынке США Samsung Galaxy Fold будет стоить от $1980.
