Huawei поможет Apple с 5G-модемами для iPhone |

Китайская компания Huawei готова предложить Apple свои новейшие 5G-модемы для использования в iPhone следующих поколениях. Об этом в интервью изданию CNBC официально заявил президент Huawei Рен Женфей.
По словам Женфея, Huawei хочет не только использовать собственные 5G-модемы в своих смартфонах, но и поставлять их для других производителей. В частности, Huawei видит Apple одним из возможных партнеров, так как у американской компании возникли трудности с поиском поставщика 5G-модемов.
Президент Huawei не сказал, связывалась ли Apple с компанией ранее с целью получения тестовых образцов 5G-модемов для мобильных устройств. Известно, что в настоящее время Apple рассматривает в качестве поставщика 5G-модемов компанию Intel. Однако как сообщают инсайдеры, Apple недовольна спецификациями модемов Intel.
Также известно, что Apple разрабатывает собственный 5G-модем. В начале 2019 года компания бросила на его создание дополнительные силы. Не исключено, что в следующие несколько лет Apple избавится от необходимости обращаться к какому-либо производителю за поставками 5G-модемов.
